Classroom and Training Preparedness ChecklistThe purpose of this checklist is to assist you in organizing all the logistical pieces that must come together to offer a smooth and conducive learning environment. Below find checklists for both the Lunch and Learn event and the Scheduling Staff Training. The Site Visit & Scheduling Staff Training Checklist directs you to this resource for the first time six weeks before Scheduling Staff Training. Please review the Lunch and Learn Preparedness and the Training Preparedness sections to provide the optimal learning environment for your participants. Reserve a meeting room that will accommodate the number of registrants and can be configured for the participants to watch a slideshow Assess the availability of projection equipment in the meeting room or to be used in the meeting roomTest and ensure all technology is operational, as applicable:Presenter computer or laptopPresentation on presenter device in presentation modeProjector (and screen)Microphone and sound systemLaser pointerDetermine need for and arrange printing of following materials, as applicable:Presentation handoutsAttendance Sign-In Sheet Ensure there is an easel or white board where questions can be parked during the presentation and question and answer sessionEnsure everyone signs in and provides their email addresses for any necessary follow-upTraining PreparednessThis checklist helps you manage training logistics and delivery preparations to set yourself and your training participants up for success! If it is not possible for you specifically to set up the training room the day prior to training, enlist another person on the training team to perform those tasks.
