Introduction

The Seller Data Requirements List (SDRL) identifies Seller Data Item requirements in support of the Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV) program. Emergent issues that are not addressed herein or otherwise provided for in source documents shall be referred to Austal USA Buyer. Data shall be provided under this Purchase Order/Subcontract.

Equipment and systems incorporated in the vessel design shall be limited to equipment and systems for which logistics support is available through the DoD supply system or through commercial distribution manufacturers or vendors/contractors as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 9, Contractor Qualifications.

All Sellers who have interest in utilizing foreign resources for the purposes of supplying equipment, materials, and/or services are hereby notified that information contained within the Purchase Order/Subcontract, to include all attachments, amendments, or any other information that is posted with a Purchase Order/Subcontract is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation. 5. First Submittal: NLT 30 days after Release for Manufacture (RFM) of

equipment or after purchase order award for Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment.

Incremental package submissions ARE NOT acceptable.

Or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)

8. Remarks & Preparation Instructions

1. All Equipment LSI packages shall be submitted in complete package form for all equipment and its components (all data pertaining to an end item shall be submitted as a package and not incrementally).

2. In the event of foreign manufactured equipment, Equipment LSI

Packages shall identify U. S./stateside suppliers for material support and shall be provided in the English language.

3. The Equipment Logistics Support Information (LSI) packages shall be prepared using Microsoft Excel or compatible commercially available software.

4. When the primary manufacturer incorporates components, assemblies, or subassemblies from another manufacturer into its equipment, the primary manufacturer will flow down the LSI Package requirements set forth herein and forward the OEM/s data for those components, assemblies, or subassemblies with his own data.

5. LSI packages shall include the following OEM information for all equipment, components, assemblies, and subassemblies provided:

• complete parts lists (including Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) identifying individual parts, quantities and relationships),

• drawings (drawings must include CAGE code – Commercial and Government Entity Code)

• supporting illustrations and diagrams,

• information describing principles of operation and maintenance, operating and servicing instructions,

• serial numbers,

• model numbers,

• equipment or component characteristics data,

• preparation for equipment storage,

• identification of any unique material or operational environment,

• identification of any special tools or test equipment required for maintenance or repair.

6. IPBs for system valves below 2 1/4” (50 57 mm ) in size are not required; however, IPBs are required for ALL relief valves, control valves and those over 600 lb. rating, regardless of size.

8.7 In addition to the information requested in paragraph 8.5; a list of recommended spares to support the seller’s equipment for a period of two years shall be submitted with the LSI data.

Recommended Parts lists shall include the following data elements:

- OEM Name

- OEM CAGE Code

- OEM Part Number

- OEM Part Pricing

- Recommended Quantity

- Unit of Issue ( i.e. packaged quantity)

- Nomenclature /Description

- Lead Time (estimated)

- Shelf Life

- Failure rates

- Special Storage Requirements

- Component Characteristics

- Serial Number

- Model Number

- Volume/Dimensions

- Weight

8.8 For those equipments operated by Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or internal programmable processes, LSI shall include maintenance and operational requirements for special software, laptop computers, unique interface apparatuses in addition to other software and information required to facilitate reloading program data in the equipment.

8.9 All Software documentation drawings, catalog data, version, operating procedures or other software technical data shall be identified and submitted if used on this equipment.

8.10 Equipment Logistics Support Information (LSI) Packages shall consist of the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEMs) commercially available data, supplemented if required, for all equipment, components, assemblies, and subassemblies that are either repairable, maintenance worthy, or items essential for day-to-day crew support, such as plumbing , toilets, watertight hatches, etc., and shall include Commercial Manuals.

11. The Seller shall submit the complete LSI Package. All equipage and each end item and its components and all data pertaining to an end item shall be submitted as a package and not incrementally. All LSI Packages shall include copies of purchase orders and/or release for manufacture documentation.

12. Installed equipment and/or components considered not repairable shall be identified by the Seller.
