Stone Arch Village Community Room, 835 Court Street, Keene, NH

Class description: Have you always wanted to draw but thought you couldn't. This is the workshop for you. Pre-instruction drawings will be followed by demonstrations and instructional highlights from The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Dr. Betty Edwards. Exercises will focus on development of the 5 basic perceptual skills of drawing: edges, spaces, relational angles and proportion, light and shadow, and the integration of these skills. This jiffy tour of the book will help students decide which chapters to focus are most relevant for personal study after the completion of the class.
