Inspire Educate Innovate

We Believe

Education allows students to become thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators. Connections to the local, national, and global communities add meaning to the learning process. Education transforms students when it is knowledge driven. We are all a culmination of our experiences; this allows us to choose, think, and act. A literate society is our planet's survival. Respect, trust, and integrity for all people. Students can and will change the world. Global stewardship: solutions for the common good.

We Embrace

Problem-Based Learning Professional Learning Community Integrated Curricula Scientific Inquiry Constructivist Learning

We Deliver

Learning environments to enrich the mind, spark the imagination, and ignite intellectual risk taking.

Tesla STEM Operating Principles

Treat each other with respect Speak truthfully and professionally Demonstrate personal integrity and dignity

Communication Practices

We go directly to the source to discuss an issue: If a student has an issue with a teacher, the student discusses the problem with the teacher. If there is a need to further the discussion, the student &/or parent will ask his/her academic counselor.

We attempt to solve the problem at one level before moving to another. If the student, parent and/or teacher feel that they are not resolving the issue, they may proceed to the next level, the student's administrator.

Faculty utilize office hours and/or email as communication tools. Teachers will make every effort to return emails within 48 hours.
