Account Manager

The purpose of the position is to grow sales by building strong long-standing relationships with new prospects while maintaining and managing existing business. The position will be the front-line contact between the company and the customer. The position offers an opportunity to work in the packaging industry and to interact with companies of varying sizes and across a broad range of industries.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy

• Establish credibility and expertise in the packaging and folding Carton industries

• Set and meet sales targets and grow your sales revenue profitability

• Make telephone calls and daily customer visits. Perform basic relationship building on a daily basis

• Identify new sales opportunities and markets

• Keep management informed by submitting weekly activity reports.

• Assist in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting

• Represent the company at trade shows and industry groups

• Resolve customer complaints by investigating the problem and developing a solution

• Monitor and keep current on marketplace conditions and competition

• Continue to grow and learn

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor Degree Preferred

• Excellent oral communication skills

• Self-Motivated and driven

• Well-groomed and Dressed

• General Technical Experience and/or comprehension

• Ability to learn and master new ideas

• No prior packaging or folding carton experience necessary to apply

• No prior sales experience necessary to apply
