Next Steps After Enrolling in the Manufacturing Pipeline Portal
Thank you for registering on the MPI Portal! There are a few more steps that you will
need to take to qualify for a Manufacturing Training Class.
Here are your next steps. You must complete Steps 1 through 4. Step 5 is optional.
1. _____ Schedule a Manufacturing Skills
Inventory Session.
3. _____ Go to the CT American Job Center
website:
Click here and here for the Math Study Guides.
1. Sign In, or if no password, select ¡°Not Registered?¡±
on the right side of the screen.
2. Create your profile by selecting the "Individual"
profile, and then selecting "Comprehensive
Registration."

2. _____ Attend your scheduled Manufacturing
Skills Inventory Session.
Watch for your Manufacturing Skills
Inventory results - Check your email (and
your spam box)!
? Applicants averaging 70 or better should contact
Jennifer Proulx (Jennifer.Proulx@ or
860-848-5202) to be invited to attend an
Orientation Session where you will be given
information about training and job search options.
? Applicants averaging between 40-69 will be
contacted within two weeks and given information
about a 2-week Education Refresher Class and a
chance to re-take the Skills Inventory or be
referred to other services.
(Applicants who pass the Refresher Class, re-take
the Manufacturing Skills Inventory and average 70
or above, will be invited to attend an Orientation
Session.)
? Applicants averaging below 40 will be contacted
within two weeks and referred to other American
Job Center services or you can visit an American
Job Center in your area at any time.

4. _____ Attend your scheduled Orientation
Session.
Before applying to a job, you will need to:
Create or Upload your Resume
1. Find the ¡°Job Seeker Services¡± section on your profile.
Select ¡°Resume Builder¡± and create a title for your
resume.
2. There are 3 options to create your resume:
? Use the Resume Builder to fill out necessary
information to create your resume.
? Upload your Resume (MS Word format
recommended, not PDF).
? Copy and Paste your resume to the CTHires site

5. _____ Complete a Profile on EB¡¯s
website: careers/
1. Click the ¡°Search Jobs¡± button and apply to specific
