The STX Business Group is well established in the industry of shipbuilding, diesel engine production and services as well as Shipping & Trading and Plant Construction.Application deadlinePosition STX Service Americas is currently seeking experienced Service Superintendents and Service Engineers for our Houston office. Both 2-Stroke and 4-Stroke Diesel Engine types, for Marine, Offshore, Power Generation applications.Position Responsibilities? Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on STX products and other brands.? Identify possible failures, evaluate and make qualified suggestions for repair. ? Perform engine repairs, and major overhauls.? Overhaul engine components in STX workshops and / or on job sites.? Perform sea-trials, engine break-in periods after maintenance, record and document all relevant findings and recommendations.? Provide high quality service reports.? STX Service personnel must at all times demonstrate a high level of professionalism when representing STX.Position Requirements? Minimum Three ( 3 ) years of experience working as a Field Service Superintendent or Engineer on 2- or 4-Stroke Diesel Engines. ? Must have a strong knowledge of mechanics and demonstrated ability to analyze and solve related mechanical problems ? Perform relevant measurements and document accordingly. ? Travel required domestically and internationally 50% to- 65% of the time.? Excellent communication in English, both written and orally. ? Knowledge of Korean language will be beneficial. Benefits:?
