You will feel confident enough to make ridiculous suggestions in campaign meetings, and laugh a lot at yourself. Main ResponsibilitiesCreating and implementing marketing and communication campaign plansCreate and implement multi-channel campaign plans to optimise engagement, effectiveness of communications and ROIContent planning and creation, and copywriting and editingWrite and edit engaging content for a range of platforms including all social media channels, Cobalt’s website and tenant portal, tenants’ newsletters, annual reports, strategy documents and general marketing collateral.Actively seek out ‘good news’ stories from across the organisation (and so position yourself as a key ‘point of contact’ to approach with information) and collaborate with other departments for approved content.Create and deliver a content schedule to ensure consistent output of news to optimise reachIdentify national, regional and sector campaigns as part of the content schedule and create content for participationReport on content engagement and use analytics to shape future outputSupport Cobalt’s response to emergencies (for example COVID-19) and service changes with crisis communicationsCreation of press releases, growing database of press contacts and building good relationships with relevant publications (online and print)Creating marketing collateralWorking with the in-house Graphic Designer and external suppliers to co-ordinate and produce a range of on-brand marketing collateral, including writing and editing copy and briefing the Graphic Designer on Basecamp. To manage and maintain a stock of promotional items.Manage the production and stock of corporate branded stationery.Support the Graphic Designer in the print, review and reprint process of publicity and marketing information to ensure corporate deadlines are met, design is of a high standard and an inventory is in place to ensure adequate stocks are available. Support the in-house Graphic Designer with basic Adobe graphics if required.Tenants newsletters (print and email) and tenants’ Annual ReportHelp to produce and manage the distribution of tenants’ newsletters and tenants’ annual reports to communicate Cobalt’s news and performance to our stakeholders.Write and assist the Graphic Designer with regular emails to tenantsWebsiteWorking with teams across the organisation, proactively edit the content of the Cobalt website, ensuring relevant news and documents are up to date and accessible.Supporting teams with creation of feedback forms, and where required, collating and sharing of responsesReporting any website issues to our website providerSupporting the Marketing and Communications Manager and Graphic Designer with new website projects.Managing the company’s Google profile Social MediaWorking to a communications schedule to ensure regular and consistent messaging across platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Business, Facebook and Instagram)Working with a social media management platform (Buffer)Respond on behalf of Cobalt to social media messages from public, and working with other teams to log complaints officiallyDeveloping content messaging and type to maximise reachMonitoring trends to ensure we’re producing relevant content styles for our audiencesMaintain a positive image of Cobalt on social mediaRaise Cobalt’s profile on a corporate level to partners Communicating with local organisations and community partners to raise their profile to the communityAssisting in reporting on monthly social media statistics Internal communicationsAs an administrator of Workplace, send out regular communications to staff about corporate messages, new developments, campaigns, staff news, changes to services, positive staff news stories etc.Liaise with staff to co-ordinate the fortnightly staff newsletter. Support staff across the organisation with proof-reading and editing to produce ‘easy to read’ information, relevant to the audience.Work closely with all teams to support and assist them in delivering corporate projects and objectives using a variety of mediums for communication.Represent the Marketing & Communications team at the staff forum Maintain regular communication with our community partners and support community regeneration and welfare teams to ensure relevant services are promoted. Responding to, and forwarding tenant social media complaints to relevant departments to resolveManage ongoing staff awards nominations and prize giving.Event supportProviding Marketing and communications support and attending (if required) organisational events including tenant and staff conferences, launch events and funded events in our region.
