Do RIGHT!Governor Walz has proclaimed November 17-23 as “Fraud Awareness and Prevention Week in the State of Minnesota.” This event is designed to raise awareness about fraud and to educate employees about fraud prevention, detection, and reporting. Fraud is an expensive burden on all Minnesotans. It impacts our agency and you as a taxpayer. Please take advantage of this week’s activities and training opportunities to learn more about fraud and how they can help prevent it. We planned several activities to coincide with fraud awareness week (FAW): [Agencies: add information here about your specific program (for example, training opportunities/schedules, link(s) to internal fraud information and resources, etc.)]Be sure to visit no fraud for daily fraud facts and for additional information. Also, watch for a special email from Governor Walz launching a new fraud awareness video.Fraud prevention is part of everyone’s job responsibilities.
