JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title:Production Assistant (Creative)Division:Operations & Business DevelopmentDepartment: Brand & Marketing Salary Band:Circa. ?26,000Reporting to:Senior Creative ManagerDirect Reports: NoneLocation: Head Office:18 Avonmore Road, London, W14 8RRJob PurposeTo assist and support the scheduling and production of high-quality, high-impact multi-channel design content that supports Independent Age’s ambitious plans to raise our brand profile and increase income, influence, and the impact of our services.Main DutiesWorking with the Senior Creative Manager (SCM) and/or Graphic Designer, where necessary - meet with clients to agree briefs, costs and deadlinesproject manage the development and production of design or multimedia briefssource and provide production specifications and estimatesmanage external resources and production suppliers as directed by SCMTo work collaboratively with a multi-discipline content team to ensure projects are logged and securely archived on completion.To monitor, evaluate and regularly report on schedules alerting SCM of risks and issues to deadlines.Support story gathering by managing and curating design and multimedia assets and permissions for the digital asset management system, as well as the online brand hub (templates, branded goods etc).To deliver excellent client satisfaction and act on feedback.To champion best practice and demonstrate continual improvement by keeping up to date with external trends and new approaches that help the charity to test, learn and push boundaries with its creative delivery.Other DutiesTo observe and comply with all Independent Age policies, including the key policies and procedures on Confidentiality, Data Protection, Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Information Technology. To undertake other reasonable duties as directed by the Senior Creative Manager and/or the Head of Brand & Marketing as the team’s, department’s and division’s work develops and new needs emerge. This role may require occasional travel and overnight stays. Job descriptions cannot be exhaustive and so the post-holder may be required to undertake other duties which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities. All employees are expected to adhere to the principles set out in its Equal Opportunities Policy and all other relevant guidance/practice frameworks.PERSON SPECIFICATIONeducation & qualificationsDesirableRelevant qualification in design and/or production project management.Educated to degree standard or equivalent. experience & knowledGeEssential evidence of:Experience of managing projects and creating schedulesExperience of print and/or multimedia productionWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software applicationsWorking knowledge of design and production best practice across formats (online and offline), processes and techniques (including environmental print / quality standards)Experience of developing and managing a robust end-to-end production process.Desirable: experience in in the not for profit sector.SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESEssential:Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and stakeholder/client management skills.The ability to be flexible, diplomatic, assertive with good negotiating skills.Excellent time management and ability under pressure to prioritise, deliver, manage and coordinate a number of projects and activities simultaneously to tight timescales.Ability to continually develop expertise, innovative approaches and best practice. Desirable: strong affinity with our cause and knowledge of older people’s issues. ................
