First: The dialogue

I will travel abroad next Friday.

3- حول الضمير (I ) الي you

………………………………………………………..…...………………………………?

1- اذا كانت الإجابة تبدأ بـ (yes, of course, sure, certainly. well, definitely , No )

Of course, you can take a taxi.

2- حول الضمير ( you ) إلي ( I )

……………………………………………………………………..………………………

I met my friend in the club yesterday.

……………………………………………………………….…….……………….………

He lives in Cairo alone.

………………………………………………………………………..……………………

When will the bus leave?

…………………………………………………………………………………..………….

Why is she angry?

……………………………………………………………………………………………...

Where did he do his postgraduate study?

……………………………………………………………………………..………………

When does she revise her lessons?

…………………………………………………………………………….……………….

(yes, of course, certainly, definitely, I’ m sure, well, No)

Would you like some tea?

Yes, / No,

……………………………………………………………………………….…………

Are you tired?

Were you at school yesterday?

No , I wasn’t.

No , I was at home yesterday.

A journalist is coming to our school on Thursday. He’s writing a story about our science club because it has done some projects about conserving energy and developing new energy sources. He’s arriving at ten o’clock. The headmistress will give him some tea in her office, then he’ll visit the science classes with Mr. Magdy. the head science teacher. In our science club, after we had gathered information from the internet, we made posters about conserving energy. We want to encourage others to conserve energy by using less electricity and using public transportation more.

We also learned about the efforts of scientists and engineers to find new energy sources. We made small models of solar energy panels that generate electricity from sunlight, and windmills that generate electricity from the wind. These will be exhibited at other schools. Some of us drew ideas for new types of cars that will use less fuel.

Many science club members want to become energy engineers. We hope this journalist's story will encourage other students to find solutions to energy problems.

Reading

Reading is the only source of knowledge and I want to say that a man without reading is like a river without water .Last week I read Oliver Twist which is the first novel in the English language to centre throughout on a child hero and is also notable for Dickens' portrayal of criminals and their sordid lives. An early example of the social novel, the book calls the public's attention to various social evils, including the Poor Law that states that poor people should work in workhouses, child labour and children as criminals. The moral of Oliver Twist is that bad people must be punished and good people live happily.Mr Brownlow ,Rose and Oliver symbolize right whereas the gang symbolizes evil. Really it is a very interesting novel.

"Friendship"

Friendship is a necessity in man's life. Man needs a true friend who helps him in hard times. The English proverb says• A friend in need is a friend indeed". A good friend should be sympathetic: he ought to share his friend's griefs and pleasures. Also, a faithful friend should not be selfish. In other words, he should not care only about his interests at the expense of the others. Besides, a true friend has to fulfil his promises, never to break them. Moreover, he should be truthful and never tell lies.. At the same time. a true friend ought not to reveal his friend's secrets. He should be an honest man.

Finally, we have to be very careful when we choose our mends in life.

No one can deny that "Pollution" is so serious and dangerous. It can turn our life upside down and make it unbearable. First of all, I want to mention some kinds such as air pollution; the most dangerous, noise pollution,…etc. It has a lot of bad effects and disadvantages, which we can't count, on the individuals and the whole society, so we must do our best to put an end to it very soon. In my opinion, it has spread widely, so we should put our hands with the government to try to find immediate and urgent solutions before its disastrous effects and results aggravate.

Moreover, we must take into consideration that it's one of the worst problems ever faced and may easily lead to other grave problems. Let's now ask ourselves how this bad phenomenon has come to take its place and imposed itself in front of us. To answer this question, we must know that there are a lot of causes of this problem which are well-known to those in charge. The most dangerous is "Modern Inventions" with all their harmful consequences. Also the industrial countries add much to the ratio of pollution by emitting large quantities of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. I think it doesn't help any person or society to make any progress or advance. To sum up, pollution can't help us live happily or peacefully in our society.

Television is a double-edged weapon

It shows us the current events that take place in every part of the world at the same time.It provides us with instruction and education as well as entertainment through films, plays, serials and other interesting programs. There are a lot of people who gain their fame through television.

But on the other hand, there are a lot of disadvantages to television. It occupies our spare time. It makes people sit in front of it in complete silence and they don't find any time to practise sports and games and thus making them lazy. It has affected the habit of reading and other useful habits so it has some side bad effects. Television can harm the eyes if you are near it.
