Collegiate Sports Travel is a privately held company specializing in sports travel. We are currently looking for additional hotels in major markets that we can partner with on all of our team travel business. Today, Collegiate Sports Travel has grown to a multi-million dollar company and books sports teams from every major NCAA Conference, as well as hundreds of other 1-AA, Division II and Division III Universities, NAIA, Junior Colleges, State High School Athletic Associations, and several amateur sports teams/organizations.

In 2017, Collegiate Sports Travel has booked over 9 million dollars in Hotel Room Revenue (not including Food & Beverage Revenue from these groups) by booking over 76,000 room nights for groups with an additional 10,000 room nights in recruiting in 2017 and we have continued to grow since.

Please read the instructions below before completing the attached RFP:

• Collegiate Sports Travel will pick partner hotels in each market. We will guarantee the hotels chosen in each market be given first opportunity to bid on each team that we are placing in that city. The contact/coach will be given the information on each hotel and he/she will make the final decision. For the most part, rate is the deciding factor for the decision by the coach. We ask that you take that into consideration when bidding. Also, please keep in mind that although we will offer your hotels and highly refer you if chosen for our program, the coach ultimately has the final say and that may result in him/her choosing another property or chain.

• Because of the anticipated volume in each city, Collegiate Sports will, from time to time, ask the designated preferred hotel for complimentary rooms for recruiting purposes during valid NCAA Recruiting period for each particular sport. This request is based upon availability. If a comp room is not available during the given time period, we ask that you provide us with a very deeply discounted rate for this purpose. (Similar to an employee rate, State Rate, VIP Rate, Internet saver rate, etc.) These rates are not required to be commissionable.

• Recruiting Rates for CST are NLRA. You can offer multiple rates (i.e. weekend/ weekday, high season/low season, special events, etc)

• We ask that because of the anticipated volume that we expect to give to your hotel if chosen for our program that you will guarantee not to offer a lower rate to any University, College or any other sports travel company/agent booking college sports than you offer to Collegiate Sports Travel. This helps us in guaranteeing you the volume by being able to offer the lowest rates available during the requested time period to our existing clients. Any violation of this can and will result in disqualification from our program. **We understand that there will be instances where a situation may arise and you have been asked to offer a lower rate such as hosting a University Tournament, pre-existing accounts, etc. We will be flexible with this as long as we are informed in advance.

 This agreement will continue until December 31, 2018 or unless COLLEGIATE SPORTS TRAVEL is notified in writing thirty (30) days prior to the end of the current term. This contract will not automatically renew itself each year.

Client hereby agrees to adhere to the following:

• Discounted Recruiting Rates (these are extremely low rates - similar to friends family/employee/VIP rates)

• Once Reservations are Confirmed by hotel, rates must be honored regardless of occupancy at check in

• Booking Code. We require our recruiting rates be loaded to a booking code so that we can book online through the brand website. These are our current corporate codes assigned to CST.

Recruiting business is great “filler” business for your property when needed. For example, there are two recruiting periods for NCAA Football. Each football staff has anywhere from 9-12 coaches. Each recruiting period last approximately 4 weeks and each coach is usually out for an average of 3-5 days per week, per recruiting period. 9 coaches x 3 nights x 8 recruiting weeks per year = 216 room nights per year per team. (This is based upon a typical D-1 school football recruiting period) There are 117 D-1 Football programs. 117 x 216 room nights =25,272 room nights. And remember, these are approximate room nights for football only, there are anywhere from 7-18 sports teams per University, each sport with their own recruiting periods and each with coaches that travel and stay in hotels. There are over 500 Universities in the country so as you can see, the possibilities are endless for these rooms.
