• Allen County High School (Patriots) and Scottsville High School (Pointers) merged in 1974.
• Football began at Allen County in the late 1960s. Scottsville did not field a football team.
• School is officially called Allen County-Scottsville High School. AC-S on second reference.
• ACS is located on the northwest edge of the city limits of Scottsville.
• The school is approximately 17 miles southwest of the I-65 interchange in Bowling Green and about eight miles from the Tennessee state line.
• AC-S athletic program include three teams that have reached the state championship game in the past seven years: Patriot football (state Class 4A runner-up in 2010), Lady Patriot softball (state champions in 2011), and Lady Patriot basketball (state runner-up in 2015).
• Patriot marching band has reached KMEA state semifinals for 20 consecutive years. Band finished eighth in the state in 2016.
