The five stages of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs are as follows:
Self-Actualization: Accomplishing your goals and reaching your full potential.
Esteem & Self-Esteem Needs: The need to have self-respect and confidence. To be respected by your family, peers and colleagues.
Love & Belonging Needs: The need to feel loved and that you belong to your family, peer groups and at work.
Safety Needs: The need to feel safe from physical and emotional harm.
Survival Needs: The need to have the items for survival -water, shelter and clothing.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Draw Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Label and define each stage of Maslow’s triangle.
For each level of Maslow’s Hierarchy, find three advertisements from a magazine, newspaper, or other printed sources, that relate to a specific level in the hierarchy. Using poster board (it does not need to be full size poster board), paste these advertisements to the appropriate level in the hierarchy. Example: An advertisement for the Sloman’s Shield to represent level two, safety.
2. Explain how each advertisement represents the particular level of needs that you have illustrated on the poster board.
3. On a separate sheet of paper list and explain two short-term goals for this year. One should be school-oriented and one should be geared towards your personal life.
4. List and explain two long-term goals for this year. One should be school-oriented and one should be geared towards your personal life.
5. Explain why your goals will change once you achieve Self-Actualization.
6. Include a description of the how you picture yourself five years from now and explain the importance of setting goals and time management.
7. Presentation includes usage of color, neatness, spelling, and creativity. All project explanations should be typed and attached to the project.
