1. Introduction

The program of postgraduate studies in the Department of Special Education, Master degree program with practical scientific nature, and many of its courses have a practical side, which leads to providing the student with the cognitive and skill dimensions.

These dimensions are related to the needs of the individual and the society, which is of course reflected on the plans of development in Saudi Arabia in general and the need of Educational institutions and other related institutions in particular to cover the needs of both the governmental and private sectors of qualified and specialized human

3. Admission Requirements

The student must fulfill the following:

Bachelor is degree in Special Education from King Faisal University or any accredited university.

Diploma in special education from King Faisal University or any accredited university after obtaining a bachelor's degree in a non-pedagogical field, if the average in the bachelor's degree is calculated at the level of differentiation and does not enter the diploma rate in that.

The student's GPA at the bachelor's or diploma levels should be very good. Exclude those who have not completed their studies or submitted their documents The student passes the written test and the personal interview determined by the

department.

4. Study Plan

The student may obtain a master's degree in special education through one of the following two options:

1- Thesis: It is the study of courses equivalent to the number of 30 teaching hours distributed on the two classes of semesters.

Preparation of a master's thesis equivalent to 6 credits hours. The student must prepare the master's thesis and pass the exam with a 6 credit

hours.

2- Courses and comprehensive testing.

The course will include 42 hours of teaching hours divided into four semesters, as follows:
