This program is designed with guidance from some of the top IS professionals and CIOs in South Florida and taught by world-renowned faculty. Students can choose various IS career paths such as systems analyst, business analyst, requirements analyst, project manager, e-commerce developer, information security administrator, business intelligence analyst, IT manager, IT security manager, Chief Information Security Officer, and database analyst.

PROGRAM FEES

Tuition for the MSIS program's Analytics Track or Cybersecurity Track is $15,880 for Florida Residents and $33,480 for non-residential and international students, along with a non-refundable application fee of $30. Tuition for the Accelerated MSIS program is $14,315 for Florida residents and $30,315 for non-residents and international students, along with a non-refundable application fee of $30.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

The deadline to submit an online application, supporting academic credentials and appropriate test scores for Fall start is July 25 th for international students, or August 1st for U.S. applicants. The deadline for Spring start is November 5th for both international and U.S. applicants. We encourage interested applicants to apply early as class size is limited to 40 students. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for admission to the MSIS program, prospective students must: 1. Hold a 4-year U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an

accredited college or university. 2. Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0 in the last 60

upper-division credits. 3. A competitive GMAT or GRE. Waived if applicant has at least

four (4) years of relevant professional experience.

? TOEFL minimum 550 for paper-based, 213 for computerbased, 80 for Internet-based

? IELTS minimum score of 6.5

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Graduate Application for Admission, along with non-refundable application fee of $30.00. Official transcript from all previously attended colleges and/ or universities. Transcripts must be sent directly to FIU by all formerly attended institutions in a sealed university envelope. Foreign educational credentials: Our Office of Admissions evaluates foreign credentials internally as part of the admission process at no cost to the applicant. If not in English, a translation from a recognized translation agency or a certified translator is also required. Official proof of degree: Applicants with foreign educational credentials must provide a copy of the original diploma. If not in English, it must be accompanied by a translation from a recognized translation agency or a certified translator. Resume. Include detailed IT/ IS experience, if any. GMAT/ GRE scores sent directly by the Educational Testing Service. Florida International University's code is 5206. Statement of purpose outlining your professional goals and objectives in pursuing the MSIS degree at FIU. Letters of recommendation (2): optional, but will strengthen your application. U.S. applicants: Proof of U.S. residency/citizenship. Florida Residents: Two proofs of residency. Documents must be dated one year prior to the term you are seeking admission.
