Please note – for ALL students completing Bachelor of Science Programs in Education, the TYPE of certificate you are applying for is an INITIAL Certificate. The SUBJECT AREA is either Childhood, Adolescence, Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages, or Technology Education. The MAJOR you will need to select depends on your concentration. For Childhood Education majors, your major is Education, for Adolescence/TESOL/Technology Education majors, please choose your Concentration Title as your MAJOR (i.e. English, Technology, etc…) The Certificate Title is the Name/Program number of your specialty – Childhood, Adolescence Education (major area), TESOL or Technology Education.
