• Assignments: homework, class activities, etc. - When homework papers or class activities are returned you will keep them here for future reference/studying. Assignments should be kept in order according to the date.

5. Graph Paper

Expectations:

1. Follow all school rules.

2. Do all work promptly.

3. Be prepared for class EVERYDAY! This means have your notebook, textbook, pencil, calculator and completed assignments with you.

4. RESPECT your teacher and classmates. Bullying or disrespect will not be tolerated.

Policies and Procedures:

1. Student Responsibilities:

A. All students are responsible for bringing their pencil, notebook, textbook, and calculator to class each day. Please bring a pencil to class. If you forget one, of course you can (and should) borrow one – from a classmate, not me.

B. All students deserve an opportunity to learn in an attentive educational environment; therefore, disruptive behavior, teasing, and disrespect will NOT be tolerated.

C. Each student is responsible for his/her own learning. This means that you pay attention, do all assignments, study for tests/quizzes (I suggest at LEAST two days in advance), and seek help when you realize you need it.

2. Tutoring:

A. The teacher is available for extra help each morning from 7:50 to 8:20.

B. Tutoring is available after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays until 4:15 by appointment.

3. Make-up Work:

A. All tests are announced at least 2 days in advance. Every effort should be made to attend class on test days.

B. If you are absent on the day before a test, you are still responsible for taking the test on the assigned test day.

C. If you are absent with an EXCUSED absence, then you must take responsibility for any work missed (homework, activities, tests) the first day back at school following the absence. It is the student’s responsibility to make an appointment to make-up a test. Makeup work due to a ten-day absence must be arranged with Mrs. Hill prior to the missed days.

D. Any quizzes missed due to an excused absence will not count against a student’s grade and do not need to be made up.

E. An UNEXCUSED absence or failure to make up work within 3 days will result in a grade of zero (0) for a test, quiz, and/or homework assignment(s).

F. If you are absent (excused) and missed any handouts, they will be in the class homework folder with your name on it.

Let’s have a fantastic year in Math Finance.
