*READING LOG: Please help your child read for 10 min and fill out then sign their reading log located in their homework folder.

• Spelling & comprehension test will be on Friday. Spelling will always be printed on the back of this announcement. Please keep it in a safe place. If it is ever lost, visit our classroom website to print another copy. mrsombao.

• Remember that homework needs to be turned in daily and that homework folder needs to be brought back to school each day. Please remember to take out any paperwork from the keep at home side and to put homework (or notes from you) in the bring back to school side of the folder.

• Please remind your child to bring their library book on Tuesdays.

• “Share Time” for RED will be on Friday. Please help your child pick something special they have. It can be a book, picture, toy, trophy, etc. Please no weapon toys!

• Class Reader: Students volunteer to read a book to the class. Please make sure that your child can read the book he/she picks fluently and knows all the words.

• February Scholastic Book Order forms were sent home today. Orders are due next Thursday, February 12th. Please input your orders online or send your order forms & payment in your child’s folder.

• Remember to make a meeting spot with your child in case you are running a few minutes late.

• We are going to have an OPTIONAL Valentine’s exchange on Friday, February 13th. The names of the students are listed on the back of this announcement just in case it is needed for the exchange. We have a total of 22 students. =)
