We seek a scholar with a demonstrated innovative research program in environmental change and global health, urban sustainability and health, Indigenous peoples’ health, and/or the geography of aging and health. The successful candidate will join an active cluster of health geography researchers in the Geography Department. The hire will find opportunities for collaborative research with other units at McGill University, including the Faculty of Medicine, the Institute for Health and Social Policy (IHSP), the Institute for the Study of International Development (ISID), the McGill School of Environment (MSE), and the Sustainability, Science and Society Interfaculty Undergraduate Program. Applicants must possess a PhD in Geography or an equivalent discipline. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Geography, and develop a vigorous, independent research program, embracing the supervision of graduate students.
