1. In your web browser go to: Be sure to bookmark or add this page to your favorites! (NOTE: If clicking on the link does not work you may have to copy the URL and paste it into your browser)

2. On the right-hand side of the screen click on the blue REGISTER NOW button. (NOTE: After you register in the future you will use the left-hand side of this page to log in)

3. Enter your USC Upstate student email address then click the blue Submit button.

4. Click the blue Start Free Trial button. 5. Click the blue Submit button.

6. Complete all the information on the Registration: Create an Account screen, at the bottom click the box next to * I Accept so that it is checked, click the green Complete My Registration button.

7. Click the blue go to my course button.

8. Click on the first assignment (LearnSmart Introduction Video). Watch the video then return to your course home page and click on the next assignment (Chapter 3: Stoichiometry: Ratios of Combination) to begin working in McGraw-Hill's LearnSmart program.

9. Once LearnSmart loads you may hover your mouse over the module to see your learning progress. Click on the module to launch LearnSmart.

10. Read the questions carefully. Before answering click one of the colored buttons below the question...BE HONEST!

11. As you study, LearnSmart will provide feedback and sometimes give you a study "Time Out" referring you to McGraw-Hill's textbook (eBook) which is built into LearnSmart. If this happens spend some time studying the eBook then return to LearnSmart.

12. You may click the Home button in the lower left-hand part of the screen to return to the LearnSmart module home page. Here, in the upper left-hand part of the screen you may click on the Reports button to access extensive learning reports. These reports provide you with a ton of information including how much you've learned, how long it will take you to learn ALL topics in the module, how much you will forget if you stop spending time in LearnSmart, etc. Explore these reports, quiz yourself, and ace your class with McGraw-Hill's LearnSmart!
