STARTING A CONNECT ASSIGNMENT ENSURING YOUR CONNECT SCORES TRANSFER TO THE IVY LEARN GRADE CENTER REVIEWING YOUR SCORES IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACCESS CONNECT DIRECTLY? MCGRAW-HILL CONNECT SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS NEED ASSISTANCE?

STARTING A CONNECT ASSIGNMENT You will access Connect assignments in Ivy Learn Modules. Initially you will need to register for access to Connect by creating a Connect account profile (if you do not already have one) and then entering your Connect access code or purchasing access direct. Once you have registered for the course, you will then be taken directly to the assignment in Connect for all remaining assignments. Below are the steps. 1. Sign into Ivy Learn and click into your course. 2. Click on the Module link on the left side to locate your assignment. Click on the assignment.

3. Click "Begin" to register for Connect.

4. Click on "Register"

5. Enter your email address to verify or create a Connect account. If there is no account registered for the email address, you will be prompted to create an account.

6. Enter in your access code, purchase access online, or start 2 weeks of courtesy access.

7. If you do not have a Connect account, fill in the Account Creation form (*where there are red asterisks) and hit Submit.

9. Click on the "Go to Connect Course" button. Locate your assignment and remember to click "Return to Ivy Tech Campus" when you are done. Do not close out of the browser with the "x" button. When you access your next Connect assignment in Ivy Learn, it will take you directly to the assignment and you "Return to Ivy Tech Canvas" upon completion.

10. When you enter any Connect assignment, from the Modules or Assignment section of IvyLearn, your assignment should automatically launch. If your pop-up blocker is enabled, you will see the below screen. Click Launch to begin work.

11. Upon completion of the assignment click "Return to Assignment List" to return to Ivy Learn.

12. Based on the course your instructor may have made certain tools available for you to use. If so, you can click on the link to access the tool.

ENSURING YOUR CONNECT SCORES TRANSFER TO THE IVY LEARN GRADEBOOK IMPORTANT: To ensure that your Connect scores are recorded to Grades in IvyLearn, make sure to click on the "Return to Assignment List" button after submitting your assignment.

REVIEWING YOUR SCORES You can review your scores by clicking on "Modules" or "Grades" in Ivy Learn. To get additional details and feedback click on the assignment after the due date.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACCESS CONNECT DIRECTLY? (Outside of Ivy Learn)

In the rare event that you are not able to access Ivy Learn to do your Connect assignments, you can still access the course assignments directly through Connect to complete your work. Do not make this a regular practice.

Go to and sign in with your Connect log in account information, which you created this when you registered for Connect. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the log in page.

Once you log in, you will see all assignments listed and can complete them.
