There are numerous disciplines of engineering: civil, mechanical, electrical, biomedical, industrial, aerospace, & many others. Engineer’s salaries are among the highest of all college graduates. Santa Ana College offers several degree options: certificate, associate degree, or university transfer.

Engineering Technicians:

• Civil - California Mean wage with Associate’s degree $31.18/hour, $64,860 annual

• Mechanical - California Mean wage with Associate’s degree $29.46/hour $61,280 annual

Transfer Students:

It is imperative that such students check with their intended transfer institutes regarding General Education and other requirements. Many four year programs do not require the IGETC pattern for transfer.
