Essay contest rules:

The Members¡¯ Advantage Credit Union essay contest is open to all graduating senior high school students and adult students in the

Wood, Adams, Portage, Marathon, Waupaca or Waushara Counties area, any adult continuing their education OR any graduating high

school senior that is a member of Members¡¯ Advantage Credit Union. A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. All participants or parent(s)

must be members. If you selected as a winner, you will be required to become a member of Members¡¯ Advantage Credit Union.

The topic of the essay must include:

An essay with no more than 500 words:

What motivates you to become financially successful?

What methods, tools or resources will you utilize to achieve your financial

goals?

Do not use your name in the essay. Essays will be judged on how well the

topic is addressed, as well as grammar and spelling.

All essays must be at Members¡¯ Advantage Credit Union by April 28, 2023 along with a completed and signed scholarship

application. All essays will be judged anonymously. The winner will be announced by or on May 5, 2023.

The two students with the most original essay, demonstrating the understanding of the essay subject, will each receive a $500.00

scholarship to the college or technical college of their choice.
