Workshop Components

This program is particularly timely given the

recent events at Virginia Polytechnic University.

The day is designed to allow mental health and

education professionals to explore how to

provide the safest environment for their

customers/students and their personnel.

The day will be divided into three sections:

• Dr. James will present TASSLE, an evaluation program that may be used at the public school and university levels.

• A panel discussion of “silos” which keep

information from flowing freely

between interested parties.

• A final session will focus on threat assessment essentials for clinical staff.
