Carizon Family & Community Services specializes in children's mental health, youth engagement and development, family violence services, individual and family counselling, parental support and education, credit counselling, workplace resilience, settlement support & community wellness.
Carizon's Encompass Program is a healing and learning environment that is welcoming and safe, where children and their families can heal from the impact of trauma, further grow their resilience, and choose to increase wellness. Encompass for Healing & Learning focuses on the interconnection of body, mind, spirit, community and environment through integrated, holistic programming, encouraging interpersonal connections and belonging within the community, and the benefits of structured and unstructured learning. The program is at our St. Agatha site.
Children's Mental Health Worker- Relief Positions
As a member of a collaborative multi-professional team, the Children's Mental Health Worker Relief is responsible for creating and maintaining a healing environment for children to heal, learn and grow.
We are currently recruiting for relief workers in the group living setting where children who have exhausted treatment resources in their home communities live on site and participate intensively in the Encompass for Healing and Learning experience while continuing to be engaged with their families, guardians or community.
Are you ready to join us on this exciting journey? Check to make sure you have a diploma or degree in a related field; one year of experience working with children in mental health; membership in a relevant professional association preferred.
