Friday (4-3-20)- Study Jams Multiplication Activity Time: Here are your choices for the week: Math Journals- I e-mailed your parents 3 different math journal pages (front and back). 1. Add & X Patterns, 2. Multiples of 10, & 3. X Strategies. If you want to print them you can but if not use some paper to solve. Your parents also have the answer key so you can check yourself when you are done. Home Arrays- Use anything in your house to create an array (cereal, stickers, markers, candy, game pieces, food, toys, etc.) Ask a family member to solve how many total items are in your array using multiplication (do not let them count each one individually- only the length & width). Array Art- I e-mailed your parents a 6 by 6 grid (6 boxes x 6 boxes= 36 boxes) to create art inside. You can also use paper to create a 6 by 6 array using squares. Decorate the inside to create a picture. Feel free to send me a picture Multiplication Squares Game- You can play with a partner or with 2 different color markers. I e-mailed your parents the game board if you want to print it, if not, copy it on paper and make your own! Follow the instructions and use this website if you do not have dice: Multiplication Color by Number Coloring Sheets- I sent your parents 3 different coloring sheets they can print. If you do not have a printer, be creative and create your own color by number sheet! Fill in the Multiplication Table Race- I e-mailed your parents a blank multiplication table (you can make your own on paper). Time yourself as you try to fill it out as fast as you can! Feel free to send me your time! IXL Graph Practice- Fluency practice- all section F & G, Other Multiplication practice- H.1-H.13 (All on 3rd Grade) PowerPoint Questions- I e-mailed your parents our PowerPoint game for this week. Feel free to play it with your family and show them some of my twists! Make your own point cards or use dice! You can also keep score for yourself because your parents have the answers for you to check when you are done. Mrs. Tarter’s Zoom Math Game- Tune in to participate in our second zoom math games with 2 time options for this week: Thursday at 12:00 and Friday at 12:00. Zoom invites were sent to your parents!
