The Los Banos Recreation Division scholarship program is designed to assist local youth, who may be experiencing financial hardship, to be able to participate in our youth sports programs. A limited number of scholarships are awarded based on financial need.

To apply for a scholarship, stop by the Community Center and pick up an application. For additional information about the Youth Scholarship Program, please call the Recreation Division at 209-827-7034. All recreation programs, classes, and special events information is available on the City of Los Banos website at .

Recreation Division

General Information

Registration Prior to using any facilities at the Los Banos Community Center, a registration form must be filled out in person. Minors must have the form signed by a parent/legal guardian.

Waivers A signed registration waiver is required upon registration for any class or activity offered through the Los Banos Parks & Recreation Division.

Parks & Recreation Division Youth Scholarship Program The Los Banos Recreation Division offers a scholarship program to assist local youth who are experiencing financial hardships. A limited number of scholarships are awarded based on financial need and ability to participate in the Los Banos Recreation Youth Programs.

These programs include:

Youth Basketball (3-4 & K-8th) T-ball (3-9yrs) Youth Soccer (3-4 & K-8th)

Payment Options Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or personal check/money orders (made payable to City of Los Banos) are accepted. No Cash accepted at the front desk.

Refunds & Cancellations Should a class or activity be cancelled by Parks & Recreation, the program fee will be refunded to the payer.

Programs and activities are non-refundable with the exception of medical reasons or relocation. Partial credit will be given for cancellation during a program and will be prorated in accordance with the time the cancellation is given.

Team Requests We are now only able to accommodate sibling/ family requests when registering for youth sports programs. We will be holding a draft to put the teams together. We feel this is necessary moving forward in order to keep the league balanced, and fun and competitive at the same time. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
