The Methodist was the first church, and was located two miles south of Briggs. It was dedicated the 2nd Sunday in May, 1892. It was called the Prairie View Church. In 1906 it was moved to it’s present location in Briggs. The Missionary Baptist church was located on the Burnet and Williamson county line. ................
