Clarence Crandall, son of William and Jennie Crandall, was born in Silver Creek Township, Ponca, Nebraska, on June 8, 1899. Following a brief illness due to heart trouble, he departed from his earthly tabernacle in the Methodist hospital at Sioux City, Iowa, Monday morning, June 22, 1953 at the age of 54 years and 14 days. ................
