Purpose Statement: This program is designed to provide an interprofessional forum for staff to engage in learning and implementing best practices in geropalliative care; to improve patient outcomes through sustaining and spreading AgeWISE principles, and to provide ongoing support to AgeWISE RNs and AgeWISE sustainability.\

Participants will be able to:

• Discuss services available from the Legal Aid of Nebraska

• Describe the House Call program through Methodist Health System

• Examine the Nebraska Emergency Treatment Orders (NETO)

8:30-9am Registration

9:00-10:00am Legal Aid of Nebraska, Jayne Wagner, Attorney at Law

10:00-11:00 am Methodist House Call Program, Rebecca Wester, MD, CMD

11-11:15am Break

11:15-12:15 pm Nebraska Emergency Treatment Orders (NETO), Lou Lukas, MD

AGES 2018 dates:

January: Tuesday, 1/16/18

May: Thursday, 5/17/18

October: Wednesday, 10/10/17

Participants must complete all requirements for successful completion to receive nursing contact hours or continuing education credit for an educational activity.
