The bartender said, "Sorry, pal. No pets allowed." The man replied, "This is a special dog. Turn on the Steelers game and you'll see." The bartender, anxious to see what will happen, turned on the game. The guy said, "Watch. Whenever the Steelers score, my dog does flips." The Steelers keep scoring field goals and the dog keeps flipping and jumping. "Wow! That's one heck of a dog you got there. What happens when the Steelers score a touchdown?" asked the bartender. The man replied, "I don't know. I've only had him for seven years.0000 Anyone with a moral sense of right and wrong will know that murder is intrinsically evil and can never be justified. Murder is the unjust taking of another person’s life. A baby is a person. Abortion is murder. Every human being at every stage and condition, is willed and loved by God. For this reason every human life is sacred. Therefore, to deprive someone of life is a grave wrong and serious dishonor to God.Our Holy Father, Francis, spoke of the need to dissolve the death penalty because as long as there is life the sinner can repent and make God a real part of his/her life. Life in prison without parole can be a just punishment.Since 1973, there have been at least 52 million babies aborted. More babies are aborted in the USA in one year than all the Americans killed in all wars combined. Every day, there are more babies aborted than those people killed on 9/11. Did you hear about the inhumane treatment from Planned Parenthood – selling aborted body parts? We need to intensify our prayers to end abortion with patience and sacrifice. Another note: There were 3,000 murderers executed since 1976. That equals the number of babies aborted in just one day.Am I doing enough to end abortion and Respect Life in all its stages?God love you,Fr. BoLET US PRAY AND REMEMBER ~ The following Rev.
