Dear Partners & Friends,

When I was praying about this letter, the Lord spoke to me and said, "Tell my people to finish the year strong! Tell them that how they finish the year will determine how they start the new year."

All you need to do is just end the year in faith & obedience.

Because of your faithfulness in the past, I know that you are a kind and caring person!

So I am asking you to pray about what God wants you to do to "finish the year strong."

Here are some things you could do:

I just love the Christmas season ?

From Joni's especially here at Daystar! One of our favorite Christmas traditions here Heart... at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas is putting up a beautiful display of sparkling white Christmas lights all around the property. Visible from the highway outside our building, these lights remind all those who pass by of the joy that is Christmas and the good news that is the birth of Jesus Christ.

Our culture works hard to take Christ out of Christmas, which means that we, as Christians, need to work even harder to share the real reason for the season ? Jesus' birth! This year, we are excited to be able to do this in a tangible way here on property through a lifesize nativity scene display ?

complete with angels, shepherds, wise men, animals, and of course, Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus. If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, be sure to drive past Daystar in the coming weeks to see the display ? it is beautiful!

But wherever you are and whatever you may be doing this Christmas season, remember to take the time to share the love and joy of Christ with all those you meet. Because of His birth, we have the promise of everlasting life with Him one day ? and that truly is a reason to celebrate!

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD IN STORE? WHAT WILL THIS YEAR BRING?

I'm asked these questions continuously - all the more so now with the release of The Mystery of the Shemitah. The Shemitah is the biblical seventh year. It holds a mystery that goes back to ancient times, and is affecting your life, your economic and financial well-being, the future of America, and the world. This now is the year of the Shemitah. The word shemitah can mean "the fall," "the shaking," even "the collapse." And the amazing thing is that in past shemitah years, there has been one collapse after the other, from the crashing of Wall Street, to global cataclysm. One of the reasons I wrote the book is so that God's people would be ready.

I was led in the book to reveal dates. But should we be focused on dates? No. Nothing has to happen on any date this year or even in this year itself. On the other hand, the mystery could manifest during this time. But whether it takes place during the Shemitah or beyond it, I believe a great shaking is coming to America and the world, and that our nation is heading towards judgment. Is it wise to prepare for times of calamity? Yes. At the same time, there is only one safe place to be ? in the will of God. The word "safety" in Hebrew is "Yeshua." And "Yeshua" is Jesus. The safest thing you can do is to get every part of your life into Jesus and God's perfect will.

Remember, too, Shemitah means "release." The Shemitah was appointed to be a year of Sabbath ? to release and be released ? to put aside other pursuits, worldly pursuits, lesser pursuits, distractions, and entanglements, to seek the Lord, and to draw near to Him as never before. Make that your goal for this year ? and your commitment.

If you do this, then no matter what else may come, it will be for you a year of release, breakthrough, and victory.
