Day 1 ? Introduction to Innovation

INTRODUCTION INSTRUCTIONS

? You'll be partnered with the person sitting directly to your left or right ? The person sitting on the right will interview their partner for 3 minutes, then we'll

switch and the person on the left will interview their partner for 3 minutes ? When interviewing, find out the below four things about your partner and write

down the answer to each question on a separate post-it note ? Each team will go up to the board and have 1 minute (30 seconds each) to

introduce their partner ? bring your post-it notes with you to place on the boards

1. Name & Pronouns (i.e.: she/her, he/him, they/them, etc.) 2. Agency and brief description of role 3. Years of Service with organization 4. Capture the essence of your partner in a single post-it note

Sample questions to ask: What inspires you to come to work every day? Who are you beyond your role?

Use door openers to learn more: Tell me more about that... Go on...

? Put them on the "Norms" poster ? one on the smiley face part, the other on the frowny face part
