CTIA took counterfeits for more than 4 million in Vyšší Brod
(České Budějovice, December 21, 2017) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the South Bohemian and Vysočina regions carried out an extraordinary inspection at the marketplace in Vyšší Brod and took 851 counterfeits for more than 4 million Czech crowns. The goods mostly consisted of textile products.
In cooperation with the Allien Police, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority carried out an extraordinary inspection at the marketplace in Vyšší Brod. Inspectors took 851 items of counterfeits in the value amounting to the total of CZK 4,079,650 when calculated in the prices of originals. All the counterfeited goods were found in a single stand. Currently the owner is unknown and identification of their data will be subject to further inspection.
During the inspection, CTIA officers detected that most of the counterfeited goods were textile products and other goods such as glasses, belts and handbags labelled with the following famous trademarks: Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Diesel, Ray-Ban, Gucci, Prada, Burberry, Lacoste, Nike, DOPE, Harley – Davidson, Adidas, KTM, Ford, Chicago Bulls, BMW, Camp David, Hollister, Mammut, Suzuki, Hugo Boss, G. Armani and Audi. Suitable goods will be offered to humanitarian purposes.
