Johnson Early College High School is a 9-12 four-year comprehensive, public, urban early college high school. Student enrollment is 850; there are 192 students in the Class of 2014.HISTORY Lyndon B. Johnson High School was founded in 1974. In 2011, through a partnership with Austin Community College, LBJ High School became LBJ Early College High School. Through this initiative, students are able to earn up to 60 college hours, allowing them to graduate with an Associate’s degree in addition to their high school diploma. Under the RHSP, students must complete 4 core courses in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies/Economics; 2 years of a Language other than English; 1.5 years of Physical Education; 1 year of Fine Arts; .5 years of Speech; .5 years of Health; and 4.5 years of elective coursework. The highest accumulated GPA is ranked #1 and the lowest is the student who has the lowest GPA in the total number of students in that particular class.
