Technology is a huge part in the classrooms today and if teachers aren’t part of deciding what will be in the classrooms, then they won’t be able to use that technology effectively. Teachers may not find certain types of technology useful in their grade and so if teacher’s aren’t included in the decision making process of what type of technology they are given, who is really going to know what teachers need? Another problem with teachers not being able to decide what technology is in their classroom is that some teachers won’t know how to incorporate it in their classroom. There are many teachers who aren’t up to date with today’s technology and depend on using the old fashion technology. Teachers should be introduced to everything that will be in their classrooms and all the resources they are allowed to use. If teachers don’t know what and how to use the technology in their classroom, it would be a waste and students would not be ready for technology in today’s world. It would be a total waste of money to have all this technology in a classroom if teachers don’t know how to use it in the lessons or if it inst necessary to teach the lesson. ................
