Course Description

General equilibrium analysis, welfare economics, market failure, market analysis using information, choice under uncertainty, intertemporal choice, and game theory

Course Outline (Part 1)

The following topics will be covered if time allows;

- Uncertainty

- Game Theory

- Externalities

- Public Goods

- Asymmetric Information

Each topics will take about 2-3 lectures

Evaluation

This part carries 50% of the total score: 45% from final exam and 5% from assignment.

There is no attendance mark.

However, any unacceptable behaviour in the classroom such as using mobile phone during class, talking, walking-in-and-out during class without any necessary reason, using classroom for other purpose, etc., such students will be asked to leave the room and marks will be taken from their assignment marks.
