EmpowerBank is a registered deposit taking Micro Bank in terms of the Microfinance Act [Chapter 24:29] and is regulated by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. The organisation was formed with the purpose of providing social and financial solutions to the financially excluded population with greater focus on the youth.

Shadreck is a holder of a Master's in Business Administration from Management College of South Africa (MANCOSA). He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe (ICSAZ). He has vast hands-on managerial experience in Banking and Finance spanning over eighteen years. He holds a Certificate in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Zimbabwe and is also a Certified Associate ? Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5
