Feature Experience Parity Exceptions and Roadmap

The deployment of Business Applications in each geography is built on the foundational principles of security, privacy, compliance, transparency, reliability, and in-country disaster recovery, offering organizations a complete cloud infrastructure and platform, as well as familiar productivity and business application tools. This means that customer data is stored at rest within the geography, except as noted in the Trust Center ().

Microsoft strives to maintain functional parity across our localized data center deployments. However, there are exceptions affected by dependent service availability, market priorities, or compliance regulations. These exceptions are indicated through the Product and Feature Availability table below and intended to help customers understand and plan for successful implementation of their business application solutions. Microsoft continues to evaluate these services and capabilities for inclusion and updates in future releases.

A status is provided for each Feature. They include:

Available: This feature is Generally Available in the Geo Roadmap: This feature is on the product roadmap for deployment into this Geo, but a committed date has not yet been established

Not Available/No Plans: This feature is not on the roadmap and there are no actions underway to evaluate its inclusion for the Geo Public Preview: This feature is available as a Public Preview feature in the Geo Private Preview: This feature is available as a Private Preview feature in the Geo Limited - See Documentation: This feature is available in the Geo, however the documentation explains unique details about its functionality in the Geo

Workaround Available: While the feature, directly, is not available in the Geo, there is a documented workaround to achieve the same or similar functional intent. Please refer to the feature documentation for more information.

Furthermore, to aide in general planning, anticipated availability timeframes are provided wherever possible. They are expressed as Calendar Year ? Half (e.g. CY22-H1) or Calendar Year ? Quarter (e.g. CY22-Q3), wherein:

H1: January through June H2: July through December Q1: January through March Q2: April through June Q3: July through September Q4: October through December

BAP CoPilot Capabilities for US Gov Geos: Azure OpenAI in the Public Global Azure cloud has achieved FedRAMP High compliance. However, the Business Application teams are actively investigating the potential to enable BAP CoPilot features with the Public Azure OpenAI service to support GCC and GCC High CoPilot features. No timeline projections or commitments are available at this time to enable a cross-cloud integration.
