The central application for the DocuPhase Platform is a Web-based application running on a Microsoft Server with a Microsoft SQL Server database and a Windows file sharing image repository utilizing Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). Certain components and services may be distributed to run on separate servers for load balancing and distributed processing. DocuPhase provides full support for VM and VM Enterprise Management. Virtual Machine environments may run on different physical servers. DocuPhase licensing takes this potential re-allocation of physical servers into account allowing such physical reconfiguration to occur dynamically without breaking iDatix software licenses. Server RequirementsThe typical minimum and recommended requirements for the DocuPhase server(s) along with the software that is needed are listed below. The allocation info should provide some insight into specific configuration concerns.SQL ServerItemValueCPU2 GHZ Dual Quad CoreMemory32 GBStorage250 GBSoftwareSQL 2008 Standard or above, Server 2012 or aboveAllocation InfoPlease follow Microsoft’s best practices here by placing each database and log file on separate physical drives or separate LUNs. These should be separate from each other and separate from any other database files. RAID 10 is preferable.DocuPhase/iForms/Progression ServerItemValueCPU2 GHZ Dual Quad CoreMemory32 GBStorage500 GBSoftwareServer 2012 or aboveAllocation InfoServer runs IIS.Both Memory and CPU are the concerns on this server as the iForms java will consume high amounts of memory. Both the image service and java will cause high CPU utilization. If the repository is placed on a SAN then the storage can be reduced down to 100 GB for log retention.OCR ServerItemValueCPU2 GHZ Dual Quad CoreMemory32 GBStorage100 GBSoftwareServer 2012 or aboveAllocation InfoServer space used for temporarily files generated during the OCR processNote:? These minimums and recommendations are only provided as a general point of reference for average system installations and may need to be adjusted higher to meet the demands of your specific situation.Workstation RequirementsStandard DocuPhase StationItemValueCPU2 GHZ Dual Quad CoreMemory4 GBSoftwareWindows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10Allocation InfoThis station is designed for a DocuPhase user that is working in the web application searching for documents, completing tasks, or performing administrative tasks.Scan StationItemValueCPU2 GHZ Dual Quad CoreMemory8 GBAvailable Disk Space1 GBSoftwareWindows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10Allocation InfoThis station is designed to be used by someone that is heavily involved in the scanning function of bringing documents into the system.Note: ?All stated requirements are minimums for the desktop application’s installation.? The recommended hardware requirements will vary depending on a number of factors including the workstation roles that are installed and the anticipated load that will be placed on the workstation.Browser SupportThe following table contains all of the supported browsers for the DocuPhase solution.Internet BrowsersBrowserVersionMicrosoft Internet ExplorerVersion 10 or above (32-bit version)Microsoft EdgeEdgeApple SafariAll VersionsGoogle ChromeAll VersionsMozilla FirefoxAll Versions*Not all functionality available in all browsersNote: The DocuPhase legacy (heavyweight) viewer is only available with IE10 and above. The HTML5 viewer can be used on any of the listed browsers. Network RequirementsNetwork bandwidth of 100 Mbps is the minimum requirement for a local internal network when using DocuPhase and/or Progression, optimal performance is reached with 1 Gbps or above. DocuPhase suggests the use of best network practices when using the DocuPhase platform outside of a network other than the location in which the server is installed. Note: All stated requirements are minimums for the DocuPhase platform installation. The recommended requirements will vary depending on the anticipated load that will be placed on the network. ................
