Solving problems with completing eLearning at HomeNow that most of us are working at home it is a great opportunity to get that your eLearning off your “to do” list. However, there are some things that are useful to know and will reduce the frustration when things don’t work as you think they should.Accessing the SystemYour eLearning login should be the first 6 digits of your payroll number and the password that you have set after the account was set up. Drag and drop questions do not always work on an Android device and definitely do not work on iphone or Ipad. If you are trying to complete a course with drag and drop questions you will need to use a pc with FLASH installed. If you do not have the shortcut on the council laptop or are using your own pc at home, open Internet Explorer and paste this link into the browser If you cannot use Internet Explorer and need to use Chrome or another browser, then you will not be able to complete courses where there are drag and drop questions. These do not work on Microsoft Edge or ChromePLEASE DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER when using OFFICE 365 – only use for eLearningWindows 10 and Apple Desktops and Laptops - ISSUE With FLASHA few courses on the eLearning system are built in something called FLASH. FLASH is not installed on Windows 10 by default and simply does not work on Apple devices. Note: You may have FLASH installed in which case they will work fine as long as you are using Internet Explorer. Windows 10 default browser is Microsoft Edge.Even if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, if you do not have FLASH installed these courses will not open at all and you may get a message to say “Thank you for completing the course”, even when you haven’t even got in.
