Skype for Business: Meeting Guide When you are invited to a Skype for Business Meeting, and you do not have the Skype for Business app or an account for it, follow the steps below.The Skype Meetings App allows participation in Skype for Business meetings, even without an account. Use this guide for your first meeting to install Skype Meetings App or Skype for Business Web App software.Once you have the Skype for Business Meeting app downloaded to your computer, future Skype meetings should open automatically.Joining the MeetingAt meeting time, open your Skype for Business email invitation, and then click Join Skype Meeting in the email message.If this is the first time you are joining a meeting, your browser will prompt to download Skype Meetings App.On a Windows machine, follow browser's instructions for installing Skype Meetings App. For example, in Internet Explorer, select Run when alerted at the bottom of the browser window.On a Mac, the package will download, then double-click to install. Follow the prompts to completion, then click the Join the meeting button on the browser. The Skype Meetings App will open and you will see a Welcome screen. Enter your name in the text box, and then click Join (no user account required).You may see a popup window asking to allow the Skype for Business Web App Plugin. Select the Always allow the plug-in for this domain checkbox and Allow.The Skype Meetings App will ask how you wish to connect with Audio. If you have a USB audio headset, use Skype for Business.If you do not have a headset, choose the Phone: I will dial in option. The next screen will give you the dial-in number and conference ID.Once you have dialed in, click the X to close the dial-in info window. The meeting will start, use the menus and buttons to display video, mute your line, or other functions. Want to Listen On the Go?The Skype for Business App can also be downloaded to mobile devices. Simply download the Skype for Business app from your mobile device store, then log in using your University of Phoenix faculty email address and ecampus password.
