? It is recommended that the UC-Engine and the HD-250 be connected to the same power source

? If customers connect USB and HDMI of Mercury X to the same laptop AND do BYOD call along with local presentation, removing the USB from the laptop would stop the content audio from the Mercury X speaker as well. Recovery is to perform a stop/start presentation or HDMI Remove and Reinsert.

? Connect HDMI and USB to the same laptop - If customers connect USB and HDMI of Mercury X to two different laptops, audio from HDMI source will not be heard from Mercury X. Only the audio from USB laptop will be present.

? All audio settings in the SRS V2 software must be set to a Microsoft certified audio device (e.g. Crestron Mercury)

? To change languages on the UC-ENGINE for MTR, follow the instructions under "Selecting a Language" in the link below

? UC-ENGINE "Sleep" setting should ALWAYS be set to "Never".

? Wake/Sleep behavior will work as follows (please note, the UC-ENGINE setting referenced here is the "Screen" setting, not "Sleep"):

Mercury Setting

Based On Occupancy

UC-ENGINE Screen Setting (found in Admin mode in Windows)

Any time value

Result

After the specified UC-ENGINE timeout with no active meeting, the device will go to sleep only if the Mercury is NOT detecting occupancy. When the device is already asleep, the Mercury transitioning from no occupancy to occupancy will wake the Mercury and the UC-ENGINE.

Based On Occupancy

Always On

Never Any time value

Always On Never

The UC-ENGINE will never go to sleep. The Mercury will never go to sleep.

After the specified UC-ENGINE timeout with no active meeting, the device will go to sleep (all screens off). When asleep, a touch on the Mercury is required to wake up.

The UC-ENGINE will never go to sleep. The Mercury will never go to sleep.

? Microsoft SRS V2 does not support HDMI presentation content audio pass through to remote participants.

? HDMI input audio volume coming from connected device speakers gets reset to 50% upon accepting or making a Skype or Teams call

? In Skype for Business and Teams (Default) mode, dial pad fails to dial the International Prefix upon Long Press of 0

Issues (Rare, 1 occurrence per 1000+ tests)

? If the camera connection is lost due to any movement of the cable. Make sure the cable is seated correctly; if not reseat it.

? UC Engines might experience failures on the first overnight reboot post update. Power cycle to recover.

? Certain 4K displays are incompatible with the Microsoft Teams rooms; It is recommended that the customer reach out to support to understand if any of their displays fall into this category.

? Camera will sometimes need to be manually enabled when joining a meeting. ? Meeting mode `Skype for Business Only' fails to receive an incoming call from a UC-ENGINE in

meeting mode `Skype for Business (default) and Teams'. ? SRS V2 fails to add a telephone user using the Dial pad ? Sometimes when connected UI is asleep, an incoming call will wake the unit but will not show the

incoming call notification on the touchscreen. Incoming ring tone can be heard in this state. ? Observed SRS V2 app freeze which requires a UC-ENGINE reboot ? Sometimes keyboard fails to popup while the user tries to enter the administrator password to go

into the Settings page ? When adding UC-ENGINE to an existing meeting, volume control from the UC-ENGINE UI may be lost ? When resetting the UC-ENGINE from the connected touchscreen UI, a reboot of the connected

touchscreen may be needed to restore UC-ENGINE connection
