Lab Activities

Web Sites with Lab Activities and Ideas for Middle School

Bill Nye has some activities. Just follow the link below and go to “Home Demos”. He puts all of his experiments into three categories – Planetary science, physical science, and life science. This makes his experiments very easy to navigate. Also, all of his labs are low cost.

A link to Magic School Bus related activities is below. Each activity here has its own worksheet that can be copied for the students.

The link above takes you to activities from Exploratorium.edu. They were meant for the home, but can be adapted to the classroom. An example of one of their activities is attached as another document.

See “lab activities” on the right side of the website.
