PDSB Password Help

This document covers updating the password for your PDSB Network/email, SIS and Vista (including self-serve). Your Network Login ID and Password, commonly referred to as your Email Username and Password, are the same login credentials that you use to access SIS and Vista. Your Network ID is your seven-digit `P' number and your password is case-sensitive.

1. How do I access my PDSB account from home?

From any browser window, navigate to . From the top of the page, select the link called Staff Login. Enter your PDSB Network Login ID/Email Username and password. From the top right corner, select the mail icon and your email mailbox will open.

2. How often do I need to change my password?

You're required to change your email password a minimum of every 90 days. When you change your Network/email password, your SIS and Vista passwords will be updated to be exactly the same.

3. May I change my password when I want to?

Yes. You may change your password at any time by visiting and selecting the option to Change Password. Your new password will expire 90 days after you change it.

4. What if I don't know my password or can't remember it?

If you don't know your password or if you can't remember your password, you're required to reset it. Visit , select Forgot Your Password? then Reset Password. Enter your Username (P#) and personal information. Follow the prompts to create a new and secure complex password. Use your new password to log in to the network to access your account.

5. Is there is a self-service password option?

Yes. Once you have updated your email password we strongly recommend that you visit . From here, select My Questions to register answers to a few secret questions. Once registered, you will be able to change your password at any time, and from almost anywhere there is an Internet connection.

Troubleshooting Guide Occasionally, some users may experience challenges logging on to the network from home:

Logging into Vista returns a blank page

Vista works best on older browser versions, for example Internet Explorer 9 and earlier. You will need to turn on Compatibility View to view. This only needs to be done once. To turn on Compatibility View, select Alt +T, then select Compatibility View. Log in again to Vista using your Network/email ID and password.
