Minecraft forge downloads as zip files

you download them. 1) Open the .RAR or .ZIP file. 2) Open the Minecraft folder. 3) Place the files from the mod .RAR or .ZIP file to the rightful places (if you need to place a file in the mods folder, and you don't have one, create it in the Minecraft main folder, and name it mods . ................
