INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING THE COMPUTERCRAFT MOD TO YOUR HOME COMPUTER.

1. Run Minecraft.exe. It will load the launcher and download the rest of the game.

2. Click the "edit profile" button in the lower left.

3. In the drop-down box next to "Use version", choose "Release 1.6.4". Run the game once with this option installed, and then exit and move on to the next step.

4. Run minecraftforge-installer. Make sure the "Install Client" button is selected, and that the path at the bottom is something like "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft" where USERNAME is the account name on the computer.

5. Open the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft folder. If you cannot find your AppData folder, you will have to do one of two things:

(a) For Windows 8: i. Select the "View" tab at the top of your explorer window. ii. Choose "Options" on the left side of the header. iii. Select the "View" tab in the new Options window. iv. Choose "Show hidden files, folder, and drives". v. Click the "Apply to Folders" button.

(b) For Windows 7, Vista, XP, etc. i. Select the "Tools" menu. ii. Select "Folder Options". iii. Select the "View" tab in the Folder Options menu. iv. Select "Show hidden files and folders". v. Press the "Apply to all folders" button.

6. Find the "mods" folder and open it.

7. Drag "ComputerCraft.zip" into the "mods" folder.

8. In the MineCraft launcher, select "Forge" from the drop-down list on the bottom left.

9. Enter your MineCraft login credentials in the box that pops up.

10. Start MineCraft and enjoy!
