Children's Department

Toddler Time: Mondays @ 10:30am & Thursdays @ 6:30pm Ages 18-36 months. Bring your favourite adult to the Library for 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, & stories.

Preschool Story Time: Tuesdays & Saturdays @ 10:30am Ages 3-5 years and parent or caregiver. It helps you give your child the skills needed to learn to read through Reading, Writing, Talking, Singing, and Playing. Explore a theme with stories, rhymes, crafts, and activities! Younger children welcome with a caregiver.

French Early Learners: Wednesdays @ 10:30am Ages 1-5 years. Bienvenue ? la biblioth?que! Join us every Wednesday morning for French rhymes, songs & stories! For families interested in practising or learning French together. No previous French knowledge required!

Minecraft at the Library: Wednesdays @ 7pm & Sunday, June 11 & June 25 @ 3:00pm. Ages 7+. Join us on the Library server and explore the world of Minecraft! Creative mode only; no previous experience necessary. Space is limited. Please register before June 7th; call 643-7239.

BLOCK Party: Saturdays @ 11:00am & Sundays @ 1:00pm All ages. Drop-in and let your imagination take shape with our collection of LEGO? bricks! You bring the creativity, we supply the blocks!

Aboriginal Story Time: Saturday, June 10 @ 10:30am All ages. Celebrate National Aboriginal History Month in June with a special Aboriginal Visit with Passamaquoddy Native Kate Akagi, featuring traditional histories, stories, & crafts.

Engineering Challenge: Saturday, June 17 @ 2 pm. All ages. Do you think you can build a strong structure using popsicle sticks, marshmallows, yarn, and straws? Drop-in and take our engineering challenge. No registration required.

Sensory Story Time: Saturday, June 24 @ 2:30pm Ages 3-6 years. Sensory Storytime is a 30 minute program of stories, songs, rhymes and sensory play activities. For children of all abilities, especially those with special needs. Space is limited. Register - 643-7239.

Summer Reading Club: Canadian Celebration Countdown: Saturday, June 24 to Friday, June 30

From babies through the tween years ? kids of all ages can join the Summer Reading Club. It's free to register and track the books you read in your logbook, and it is never too soon to share a love of reading! We are celebrating Canada 150 with Annick the Porcupine and Charlie the Chickadee.

THE TEEN ZONE

Chat and Chew! Tuesdays 4-5pm Have some pizza and conversation after school! Some pizza may be available for those studying in the library during exam week (June 12-16)

Fundy Comic Arts Society: Saturday, June 17 from 10-1pm Discuss, create, learn and share your passion for the art of comic books, graphic novels and manga!

PLAY X-BOX and CHESS whenever the library is open!

7th ANNUAL LIBRARY CHESS TOURNAMENT
