My Favorite Things:

I like building with Legos and K'nex. I enjoy playing outside. I also like having time on my tablet, watching cartoons and playing video games. I enjoy Minecraft. I like my Playstation 4, especially the Minecraft game. I also like Harry Potter. I have a great imagination. I also love cats. I love Mac and Cheese, hamburger and pizza.

Things I do not like:

I don't like loud and chaotic environments. I also don't like to be kept waiting. I didn't used to do well when I was told "no," but I'm getting better with that.

What I want in a family:

I want to live in a calm home environment with patient parents. I like animals and I enjoy having pets in the home. I would prefer to live in a city or larger town. I want to live somewhere warmer than Vermont.

What we want families to know about the youth:

Alex needs a family who can commit to him and help him feel safe and secure. He has the capacity to trust adults who have a consistent relationship, and who know how to help him feel safe in his surroundings. Alex requires adequate time to process what is being communicated to him, especially when he is being provided with verbal prompting. He responds best to clear and concise directions. He benefits from knowing what to expect. He is a very caring young man.
